   About
The Governmental Payment Service project is managed by the General Accountant Office as part of the e-Government project.

The Governmental Payment Service is an electronic e-commerce system that enables any governmental office to manage a virtual payment service, allowing it to offer online paid services such as taxes and fees, with little bureaucracy. The service was launched in November 2001 and has handled hundreds of thousands of transactions so far. The variety of services keeps expanding, as do the payment methods and the types of services. In the near future, tax payments will be possible, alongside digital information downloading and additional e-Government services.

The Governmental Payment Service was developed in the association with Addwise Infomanage Ltd. On IBM (past) and Microsoft (present) platforms.
